EAST LIVERPOOL RDA
ENRICHING LIVES THROUGH HORSES
East Liverpool Riding for the Disabled is an independent community run charity set up to provide equine assisted therapy and riding sessions for children and adults in merseyside.
At Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), our horses benefit the lives of over 20,000 disabled children and adults. With fun activities like riding and carriage driving, we provide therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement – all supported by 13,000 amazing volunteers and qualified coaches at over 400 RDA centres all over the UK.
RDA is an inclusive and diverse organisation. We welcome clients with physical and learning disabilities and autism, and there are no age restrictions. Through our network of member groups, RDA is at work in every corner of the UK, in our cities and remote rural areas, bringing the therapy, achievement and fun of horses to as many people as we can.
We are a charity, and we can only carry out our life-changing activities thanks to the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers and the good nature of our fantastic horses.

Our Story
Natalie has been involved with RDA for many years and in 2017 decided to set up her own site initially in St Helens before moving to our current site in Rainhill.
It was a difficult start as the Covid lockdowns occurred just as we opened.
However through hard work and determination things began to progress as the world began to open up.
Today the centre has had 100’s of children and adults through it’s doors all benefitting from the therapy provided by horses whether that be through riding or one of our other activities such as tea with a pony.
