East Liverpool Riding for the Disabled
We provide riding lessons for disabled children and adults with many and varied disabilities, some physical, some emotional with learning difficulties and Autism. Riding strengthens core muscles, balance, posture, co-ordination, confidence and general health and well being. We can also help people recovering from illness and trauma. We also provide lessons in horse and stable care to give people of all ages additional life skills to help with possible employment .

In their words . . .
East Liverpool RDA has been the best hobby for our daughter Alex. It’s the one place where her abilities and achievements are celebrated instead of constantly being compared to others. We’ve attended riding lessons, pony days and had a horse riding party which was literally the best party ever. I cannot thank the team enough for their efforts. It’s an amazing place. E Macdonald
Charlie does not often enjoy traditional physiotherapy so we were delighted when he was offered a place at East Liverpool RDA as it allows him to have therapy whilst having fun. Charlie loves coming to his riding sessions and feels very relaxed and comfortable with all of the trustees and volunteers who always make him feel welcome. J Breckell
My 2 have been going to the pony days since they started up and love them so much. Sky is a very complex little firecracker and I rarely leave her anywhere but I am more than confident in leaving her on pony days as I know she is safe and secure and thoroughly enjoying herself with Nat and her amazing team. Highly recommend fun in the fresh air for the kids. J Webster
